The hotel is very easy to reach from the airport. You take tram line nr 2 till the end and the hotel is a few minutes walking from there. The staff is very friendly and professional, we had a warm welcome. The hotel is perfectly located to have a complete visit of Florence in a couple of days. The rooms were spacious, clean and nice.

Our hotel is located inside two palaces of the 15th century built at the time of the Medici family, and the rear part was a convent; hence comes a pretty special atmosphere of old-world charm, with original fresco ceilings and a maze of long carpeted hallways.

Hotel Casci was started in 1926 by Mrs Casci and it was happily welcomed by the local press as the first hotel in Florence with hot and cold water in all rooms. Things have changed since then and it is now bigger and offers a lot more facilities.
